Hi humans, I'm Dejahne. A certifying Labor Doula based in San Diego, California. I am certifying through Maternity Wise Institute with a passion for Black maternal health and wellness. A little about me is my name is pronounced Day Jah Nay. I'm a water-loving water sign. And I'm a dog mom! As a Doula, I offer those welcoming souls Earth-side a safe space and support to feel all the feelings of labor and get through it as a team.
About Me
My Values and Philosophy:
I support every woman's right to make choices about their body. I am pro-choice and also believe infants and children should always have access to safe housing, healthy food, and proper love and care. I believe every pregnant person should have access to a doula if they want one and strive for care to be as accessible as possible.
My Sisterly Approach to Care:
A sister is a gal who can be your best friend, confidante, and biggest supporter all in one. As your doula, I hope to cultivate a close enough relationship with you that ease and comfort is brought to you by my presence! Think of me as the bestie on your birth team!
Why I Became a Doula:
I have aspired to become a doula and center the work I do for the rest of my life around supporting women and empowering the matriarchy as I wholeheartedly believe that is how we can achieve world peace.
